Buckwheat Crepes

These are a winner for any brunch gathering for friends and family. Create individual plates of greens, mushrooms, sprouts, hummus, rice and your favourite dressings and let each person design their own culinary delight.


High in fibre, nutrient dense and a taste bud pleaser.

Yield: 10 crepes


Ingredients: 1/2 kg buckwheat berries

600ml water

160ml olive oil

80ml tamari


  1. Soak wheat berries in water overnight. At least 8 - 12 hours

  2. Rinse soaked berries well

  3. Add all ingredients into a bowl

  4. Blend all ingredients together

  5. Continue to blend until the mixture is the same colour

  6. Use well greased and hot pan to fry crepes. Each one may take 3 mins on each side.
